Lindsay Akemi Arakawa is an artist living, working, and eating lots of bread in 東京 (Tokyo).

Lindsay was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and currently lives in Tokyo with her husband, Ray, and black Labrador puppy, Konbu. Before moving to Tokyo in 2018, Lindsay attended college in San Francisco, CA, which is where she started out her career in the advertising industry. From there, she then moved to NYC to pursue her dreams of living in the Big Apple and worked as a Social Media Content Strategist for Refinery29.

While pursuing a career, Lindsay also started a collection of shoeboxes full of 35mm film photos she has taken over the years, and one day decided to use these photos as a type of journaling surface to express her feelings via Posca pens throughout her day.

Lindsay’s creative work has since grown to be recognized on Instagram and has collaborated with clients such as Coach, Casetify, All Birds, Red Cross, Pinterest, Disney, and more. She also writes sometimes while listening to Frank Ocean.
